Yesterday Ellie, Nisa and Roger went skiing with Ellie's Brownie Troop at Mt Hood and had a great time. Ellie & Nisa had a two-hour lesson and by the end of the day had completely mastered the bunny slope.
One of the Mom's we went skiing with had an entertaining conversation with Ellie about the new baby:
Friend's Mom: "I'll bet you can't wait for the baby to come."
Ellie: "We'll, we don't want it to come too soon, or that wouldn't be good for the baby." (This is what Mika always reminds Ellie of.)
Friend's Mom: "But are you really excited?"
Ellie: "Well, I've been through this before a couple times." :-)
Maile went pee in the potty for the first time ever, but it was a comical experience. The girls were all taking a bath when Maile said she had to go potty in a painful voice. Roger picked her up, dried her off and sat her on the potty. Then she said she wanted to go in her diaper. But with everyone cheering her on she actually went pee in the potty. After she was done, she still wanted her diaper on to go poo. Oh well, baby steps...
