Mika had her ultrasound the other day and we brought in the whole family to take a look. Everything checked out great and the doctors are now 99.9% sure we are having a boy. An amusing moment happened when they showed the four-chambers of the baby's heart. Maile looked and yelled, "It's a puppy!" thinking that the heart looked like a big paw-print. :-)
Last week Nisa's kindergarten teacher pulled Mika aside to share another great Nisa moment. The teacher was trying to explain how people make quotation marks with their hands sometimes for emphasis and Nisa called out, "Like sometimes on TV people will say, "I've got 'issues'."" Nisa had the inflection & hand-quotation marks down perfect. The teacher had a hard time containing herself.
In other news Maile is now swimming with the water noodle. Also, this week will be the first time in the last three weeks that Daddy does not have to travel for work.
