Gong Xi Fa Cai and Happy Valentine's Day!

Ellie was talking away one afternoon and for some reason compared herself to Simon from the Chipmunks. Roger asked, "Why are you Simon?" to which Ellie responded, "Because I'm the oldest and I'm smart. Nisa likes to rock out like Alvin and Maile is cute & chubby like Theodore." :-)

Last Friday night we had a great time with the girls at Chuck E. Cheese. The girls had a record night for tickets and were very excited about their toy prizes. Thanks to Doc & Gram for sponsoring the night.

Saturday night we left the girls in Mt Angel and went to a Jazz Club in downtown Portland for Valentine's Day. Then on Sunday we went to church and then brunch at this French bakery in downtown Portland. Thanks to Grammie for the break from the kids.

Then on Sunday, we celebrated the Chinese New Year with a Lion Dance at a local Chinese Restaurant. Maile was a bit scared, but the older girls loved it.
