Quick updates...

As we were packing for Minnesota we asked Nisa to make a birthday card for her cousin Josiah. After a brief hem and haw Roger asked, "Don't you like to receive cards on your birthday?" To which Nisa replied, "Actually no. They slow me down from getting to open the present." :-)

Also, Nisa learned to snap her fingers up in Seattle when she was in the Flapper production. She now tends to snap her fingers as a part of her regular conversation. It is quite amusing.

Ellie started attending Mathnasium last week and she is doing really well. She actually enjoys math now, which feels like a miracle after all of the struggles we've been through.

We took down Maile's bed and she now sleeps in the bottom bunk with a rail. Ellie is in her old bed from Mountain View. We're hoping Maile has better luck with her bottom bunk now that school is about to starts. :-)

This week we had a big break-through in going through all of the junk on Ellie & Nisa's desk and craft area. It has been a disaster area since school got out in June and we received all of these great school projects from throughout the year. Ellie is quite the collector and letting go of many of those old school assignments was a bit of a struggle. The rule of thumb we used was that if you could look it up on the Internet, it had to go in the recycle bin. :-)

That's all for now.
