Nisa started doing one-handed cartwheels this week. :-)
Ellie's homework in the 3rd grade has been a big step up from last year. Every night there is a solid hour of homework. She does well staying focused, but it can be a challenge when Nisa and Maile are running around having fun.
Last weekend Mika and Roger went to a welcome party for new Forest Park parents. All of the Kindergarten parents were invited and they had color name tags so it was easy to see which parents had kids in the same classes. It was at someone's house and they served beer, wine and appetizers. It was great to meet the teachers and fellow parents in a more social setting.
Maile is still a nut. She like to do this dance every now and then where she shakes her head, moves her feet really fast and runs in circles. Reminds us of of some of Doc's dance moves. We call her 'crazy-legs Mai-Mai'.
Maile's bedtime routine is going much better. Now that she sleeps in a real bed, like Ellie & Nisa have, she will scream if we try to put her to bed in our room. She'll still wander over to our room in the middle of the night, but it is a big deal for her to go to bed just like Ellie and Nisa do. :-)
