Roger traveled on business this past week. Gram was talking to Nisa on the phone when Nisa said, "Gram, I got to tell you something really sad. Daddy is out of town." This was on Wednesday so Gram told Nisa, "He'll be back on Friday, so you'll see him again in a couple days." Nisa's reply was, "Gram, that is a long time for me." :-)
In another Maile potty training story, after bath time Maile was hanging out around her potty. Roger looked away for a bit and when he checked back on the potty there was liquid in it. Roger was in disbelief that Maile could have gone potty by herself so quickly. However, in taking a closer look it appears that Maile took a cup of bathwater and poured it into her potty. Maile was very proud of herself. :-/
This week's final story is about Nisa's birthday present from Daddy & Mommy. Roger went out looking for a basketball hoop and came back with a basketball/football/soccer/baseball/hockey apparatus. As soon as they got home Roger started putting it together. Then Roger started to hear the girls play with different balls... play "house" that is. Roger would overhear them say, "Pretend the football is the daddy and the soccer ball is the mommy..." :-/
